Application Procedure
An applicant will be called in for an assessment as determined by the grade entrance requirements. Content of entrance examination is dependent on the grade into which the applicant has applied.
Entrance examination into the SIS school (nursery and primary) may include test on basic skills, writing, vocabulary and arithmetic.Students are expected to perform at average (65%) or above average in order to be granted admission.
Specific Requirements.
Admission to Reception
Admission to the Pre-School is determined by age and through an assessment of the applicant. Applicants must be between the ages 2 and 3years old.
Admission to Nursery
Admission to Nursery is determined by the age and through an assessment of the applicant’s readiness for the class curriculum.
Applicants must be between 3 and 5years.
Admission to Basic 1
Admission is determined by age, readiness and SIS admissions assessment.
Applicants must be 5 and 6years
Admission to Basic 2 - 5
Admission to the grades 2 to 6 is based on previous school records and SIS admissions assessment results. SIS has the right to place pupils in appropriate class based on previous academic records, admissions assessment results and age.
Admission to High School
Admission to our High school is based on previous school records and SIS admissions assessment results. SIS has the right to place pupils in appropriate class based on previous academic records, admissions assessment results and age.
